According to Wall Street Journal Reporter Chris Herring, the Knicks’ starting lineup (Felton, Prigioni, Shumpert, Anthony, Chandler) has the highest +/- per 36 minutes in the NBA.
What does that mean? It means that, if you adjust the numbers to account for playing time to make it a fair comparison, the Knicks’ starting lineup has been the most effective in the league.
You read that right. It looks like the key to winning more games isn’t some ultra-complicated scheme, or to come up with some crazy, creative lineup combination.
It’s to let the starters play more.
Now excuse me while I go punch a wall, Andy Bernard style.
