It’s bad. It’s really bad. And now, it’s historically bad.
After Thursday night’s 90-87 loss to Cleveland, the Knicks are 4-16, which is now the worst 20-game start in the history of the franchise. The Knicks’ worst record for a single season is 23-59, which they “accomplished” twice, but at this pace, they will finish at 16-66.
However, nearly all of their losses have been close games, most of them being by 7 seconds points or less. The team hasn’t looked pathetic for the most part. But the record most certainly does, and that’s what counts.
