The Pistons will hire Rasheed Wallace as an assistant coach, sources reported Monday morning. It is unknown what Sheed’s exact role will be. After playing for the Knicks at the beginning of last season, Sheed retired before the playoffs and helped Mike Woodson as an unofficial bench coach for the rest of the way. Now, he has a real job.  I never thought I’d be jealous of the Pistons. -Tommy
